Edinger Pediatrics provides care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.
Our staff is dedicated to providing the best possible healthcare for our young patients. Each of our physicians are board-certified and provide personalized care in a warm and friendly environment. Every one of our pediatricians and pediatric nurses has received extensive education, training, and experience in caring for children from infancy to teenage years and pre-adult.
Our Doctors
Shelley Chacon, MD, FAAP
Dr. Chacon received her Doctorate of Medicine from UC Davis. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at UC Irvine, which included training at CHOC Hospital, Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach and UC Irvine Medical Center, and then served at CHOC as a staff attending physician and hospitalist. She has been with Edinger Medical Group Pediatric Department (now Edinger Pediatrics) for more than two decades. She has done both FDA-sponsored and independent vaccine research in children, participated in several international medical mission projects and remains active in her church and community.
Teresa Lee, MD
After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Lee went on to obtain her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of California, San Diego and has been happily practicing full-time for over 20 years. She served a Spanish speaking community clinic, established a private pediatric office, and worked for a large multi-specialty medical group. Dr. Lee’s main goal has always been to work closely with families to nurture happy and healthy children. Currently, she resides with her husband and two children. In her spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys reading, exercising, and spending quality time with her family. She also speaks conversational Cantonese.
Harry Pellman, MD, FAAP
Dr. Pellman received his medical degree with honors from the University of Illinois. His internship was at LA County-USC Medical Center, and he completed his pediatric residency training at the University of Illinois Research Hospital in Chicago. After service in the U.S. Army, he joined Edinger Medical Group Pediatric Department (now Edinger Pediatrics). He has been very active in the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) both nationally as a member of the infectious disease, breastfeeding and armed service (West) sections, and locally in its Orange County Chapter as president, education chair, breastfeeding coordinator and PROS (Pediatric Research in the Office Setting) chair. He is a clinical professor of pediatrics at University of California, Irvine, and has been involved for many years with both FDA-sponsored and independent vaccine research in children. He and his wife have five daughters and six grandchildren.
Mai-Khanh Tran, MD, FAAP
Dr. Tran graduated cum laude from Harvard University. Following a brief stint as a financial analyst on Wall Street, she received her medical degree from the Dartmouth University/Brown University Medical Program. She completed her pediatric residency and training at UCLA. She has been, and continues to be, very involved in volunteer activities in the Vietnamese community as well as international medical missions. She has also been involved in both FDA-sponsored and independent vaccine research.
Caroline Sherrill, MD
Dr. Sherrill specializes in pediatrics and is a member of the CHOC Primary Care Network who treats kids and teens in Orange County.
